As many of you already know, my Mum is secretary of a flower club and on Thursday I went to see their floral Christmas show. The arrangements were themed around Christmas carols, the hall was staged beautifully and a pianist was playing the carols softly in the background. It certainly was a fabulous ‘Christmassy’ event, but I know that behind the scenes there have been months of hard work leading up to the show. Even I helped in a small way with designing the posters and generating e tickets! I’m always happy to give a helping hand. After all, helping others and giving back makes us feel good.
Christmas is a time for giving and celebrating ‘togetherness’.
Being generous with your time and being kind and thoughtful may be the best gift of all!
